- Amit Kumar considers this to be his first Hindi film song. Prior to this song, he did record a solo, "Main Ek Panchhi Matwala Re" ("Door Ka Rahi", 1971), but it was not included in the film. Although this song was released in 1978, it was recorded before another popular Amit Kumar solo that was released earlier, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" ("Balika Badhu", 1976).[1]
