- The tune of the mukhda of R.D. Burman's song "Ik Main Hoon Ik Tu" ("Darling Darling", 1977) was very similar to that of this song's mukhda. It is possible that Mehmood, who was directing this film and acting in "Darling Darling" (1977), may have asked Rajesh Roshan to use the tune of this song. Although "Darling Darling" was released in 1977, it had been in the making for a few years and versions of its audio records were released in 1976.[1]
