The song was not used in the film. However, there was a reference to it in a courtroom scene depicting a plagiarism case involving music directors Sangeet Lahiri and Sargam Kumar. The character of Sangeet Lahiri was a parody of Bappi Lahiri, who also sang this song, and the character of Sargam Kumar was based on Himesh Reshammiya. Sangeet Lahiri wore gold chains and Sargam Kumar used the line "Jai Mata di, let's rock!" to allude to the real-life music directors their characters were based on. There were two versions of this song in the film's soundtrack album. Their title was a reference to a profane phrase in Hindi.
