Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had previously used the tune of the song's hook line for a popular song of his - "Tere Bin Nahin Lagda". A male version of this song was also recorded. Years later, Tanishq Bagchi used the same line from the original song for a song in the film "Simmba" (2018).[1][2]
