- The phrase "haathon mein jaam hai" in the song version on audio records was replaced with "gham haraam hai" in the version used in the film. This may have been the result of the Censor Board's objections.
- There was a shot in this song sequence in which the debutant Sunil Dutt had to fall at the feet of actress Sheela Ramani. Dutt got so nervous that he was unable to get the scene right. He needed many takes to complete the shot after an angry Ramesh Saigal threatened to fire him.[1]
