Trivia

    Album

  • This film was a remake of the Tamil film "Nooravathu Naal" (1984), which in turn was adapted from the Italian film "Sette Note In Nero" (1977). "Nooravathu Naal" was dubbed in Telugu as "Nurava Roju" (1984) and remade in Malayalam as "Aayiram Kannukal" (1986).
  • This was the debut film of director Partho Ghosh.
  • Following the huge success of this film, director Partho Ghosh had planned to make its sequel, titled "101 Days" (1992). While the sequel's music was released, the film itself was never completed.[1]

    Song

  • Gabbar Singh Yeh Kya Keh Gaya - The lyrics of this song made references to the iconic character of Gabbar Singh in "Sholay" (1975), played by Amjad Khan, and his dialogues in the film.[2]
