Trivia

    Album

  • The film featured Ranbir Kapoor in a cameo role but was promoted as his film. However, the actor did not participate in the film's promotions.[1]
  • This was Vikramjit Singh's directorial debut.
  • This was the third time that Filmfare gave the Best Music Director award for a film that involved more than one music director. Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros Anjjan, and Amal Malik won this award. There were two other instances of the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director being shared by music directors - by Sajid - Wajid and Lalit Pandit for "Dabangg" (2010) and by Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, and Ankit Tiwari for "Aashiqui 2" (2013). These awards highlighted a significant trend in the Hindi film music of the 2010s - multi-composer albums. Perhaps in recognition of this trend, Filmfare renamed the category to 'Best Music Album' in 2017. Pritam was the first recipient of this Filmfare Award for the film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" (2016) after the change in name of the category.[2][3][4]

    Song

  • Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan Ve O Baby Meri - Only a portion of the song was used in the film. Composers Meet Bros were featured in the longer music video for it but did not make it to the film's cut.
