Trivia

    Album

  • This was the second of a series of films directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The other films were "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" (2011) and "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3" (2018). The series told the story of the characters played by its lead actors Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill. The title of the series was inspired by the Hindi film "Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam" (1962) starring Meena Kumari, Guru Dutt, and Waheeda Rehman.[1][2][3]

    Song

  • Dukh Thor Ditte Jugni - This song was used in the film's opening credits sequence but was not part of the audio release. The filmmakers had reached out to UK-based music producer Mukhtar Sahota after the song's music release had been finalised. They had wanted a title track and had decided to ask Sahota who had composed a song for the first film in this film series. Sahota had collaborated with singer Harbhajan Shera and lyricist Yaadwinder Pamma, both of whom were located in Punjab, and had produced the song in less than two days, just in time for it to be included in the film.[4][5]
