Krishna Beura is an Oriya musician who has also sung playback in the Hindi film industry. He is best known for the songs “Maula Mere” from the movie “Chak De! India” (2007), “Rabba” from “Musafir” (2004) and “Soniya” from “Raaz : The Mystery Continues” (2009).
Beura hails form Cuttack but is now based out of Mumbai. His career began once actor Sanjay Dutt, impressed by his talent, offered him films like “Rudraksh” (2004) with “Ishq Khudai” and “Rakht” (2004) with “Sach Hai”.
Singers he has collaborated with include Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Kunal Ganjawala and Alisha Chinai. He has sung under the music direction of Anu Malik, Ilaiyaraja, Himesh Reshammiya, Gourov Dasgupta, Salim-Sulaiman, Ram Sampath, Bapi-Tutul and Pritam Chakraborty.
Some of the other movies he has sung for include “Pyare Mohan” (2006), “Welcome” (2007), “Jumbo” (2008), “Meri Padosan” (2009), “Badmash Company” (2010), “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” (2011) and “Agneepath” (2012).
