Shamir Tandon is a music director in Bollywood who began his career with the Raveen Tandon starrer “Stumped” in 2003. Also to his credit are 150 advertisement jingles.
Before his switch to music direction, he was, at the age of 31, the youngest CEO of Virgin Music India.
He came into the limelight thanks to his association with Madhur Bhandarkar in 2005 for “Page 3” and then “Corporate” (2006) and “Traffic Signal” (2007) subsequently.
“Data Sun Maula Sun” by Lata Mangeshkar in “Jail” (2009), “Lamha Lamha” by Asha Bhosle, “Ho Sikandar” by Kailash Kher and Sapna Mukherjee in “Corporate” (2006) and “Kitne Ajeeb Rishtey Hain” by Lata Mangeshkar in “Page 3” (2005) are some of the hit songs composed by him.
A few more movies to his credit include “My Friend Pinto” (2011), “Loot” (2011), “Utt Pataang” (2011), “Click” (2010), “Mission Istanbul” (2008), “99” (2009), “Runway” (2009), “Super Star” (2008) and “Bal Ganesh” (2007).
