• This was actress Tisca Chopra's debut film. She was credited with her maiden name, Tisca Arora, in the film. She would later debut in a lead role in the film "Platform" (1993). On the advice of her producer, who thought that the audience may not accept her unusual name, she agreed to be credited as Priya in "Platform". Throughout the 1990s, she was credited as Priya or Priya Arora. She took a break from films in the early 2000s. When she made her comeback in "Taare Zameen Par" (2007), she was married and she reverted to her real name, Tisca Chopra.[1][2][3]
