Trivia
- This was the only Hindi film in which the Tamil film star Ajith acted.
- In an interview in 2001, A.R. Rahman had said that he would be making music for this film. It is not known why that did not eventually happen.[1]
- Director Santosh Sivan first talked to Shah Rukh Khan about this film while shooting for a song on which Sivan was the cinematographer - "Chaiyya Chiyya" ("Dil Se", 1998).[2][3]
