• P.N. Irani, the mother of the popular child-star Daisy Irani, turned producer with this film and launched her eldest daughter Menka as a heroine in it. The film didn't work at the box office and remained Menka Irani's only Hindi film. She ended up marrying filmmaker-actor Kamran, who helped complete the film after director Nazar quit due to some creative differences. Menka and Kamran's children Farah and Sajid Khan grew up to become successful filmmakers. Farah Khan included a still of her mother from this film in the scene in her film "Om Shanti Om" (2007) in which Shahrukh Khan's character follows Deepika Padukone's character into a building. The still was hung up on the corridor wall of this building.[1][2]
• This was one of Salim Khan's earliest films in a leading role. He eventually gave up his acting career to become a screenwriter.
