Trivia

    Album

  • Filmmaker V. Shantaram, who also played the lead role in this film, got his eyes injured while shooting the bullfighting sequence in this film. He feared that he would lose his eyesight and not be able to make films again. According to him, he also experienced life more vividly during the days his eyes were covered by bandages that rendered him visionless. It was this experience that Shantaram wanted to share with the audience through his film "Navrang" (1959).[1]

    Song

  • Saiyan Jhoothon Ka Bada Sartaj Nikla - Vasant Desai used toy instruments - a ravan hathha and a drum cart - to record this song in order to render a song which was true to the scene on which it was picturized.[MR6]
