Trivia
- Director Dulal Guha had Sanjeev Kumar in mind for the role that was eventually played by Shatrughan Sinha in this film. Sinha got the role when he approached Guha for work armed with letters Guha had sent to him in response to his fan mails.[1]
- Amitabh Bachchan appeared in this film in an uncredited cameo. He was shooting for the film "Deewaar" (1975) when director Dulal Guha, who was in the vicinity, bumped into him and asked him if he would be willing to play a small role in this film. Bachchan accepted, and since he was a rapidly rising star at the time, a few lines were written into the script for him. He did not accept any fee for the film.[2][3]
