Trivia

    Album

  • The title music of this film was based on the song "Mrs. Robinson" recorded by Simon & Garfunkel for the American romantic comedy "The Graduate" (1967), starring Dustin Hoffman.[1]
  • This film had Mehmood and his real-life family depict their real-life story on screen. The film's opening credits introduced the film as "True life of Mahmood in a filmic way". While his wife Tracy Mehmood was credited, his children Pucky Ali, Lucky Ali, Macky Ali, Masoom Ali, Mansoor Ali and Manzoor Ali, who also acted in the film, were not credited.
  • Lucky Ali debuted as a singer in this film. He did not sing again in Hindi films for many years. His second innings in Hindi films started with the song "Nasha Nasha" ("Dushman Duniya Ka", 1996).[2]

    Song

  • Ek Baap Aur Chhe Bete - The initial audio records of the film released this song in four parts. Later versions of the audio release combined the four parts in one track.
  • Buddhe Teri Chaal Buddhe - This song was sung by two sisters, Sulakshana and Vijayeta Pandit, and a father-son pair, Mehmood and Lucky Ali.
