Album

• This film was titled and promoted as a sequel to "Jism" (2003). However, other than the fact that both were erotic thrillers, there was no connection between the two films. Pooja Bhatt co-produced both the films and directed the sequel.[1]
• This was the debut Hindi film of the Indian-Canadian porn actress Sunny Leone. She played the role of an adult film star in it.
• This was Arko Pravo Mukherjee's debut in Hindi films as a music director.
• The release of this film was marked by protests against its "obscene" content. In one incident, the Mayor of Mumbai Sunil Prabhu took into consideration a complaint filed by legislator Vidya Chavan and asked the posters of the film to be taken down from BEST buses.[2]
• There were news reports that Sunny Leone's lines in the film would be dubbed by director Pooja Bhatt herself. However, that did not happen. Sunny's lines were dubbed by the voice artist Smita Malhotra.[3]

Song

• Yeh Jism - This song seems to be an adaptation of the song "Bir Ask Hikayesi" by Turkish artist Kayahan.[4]
• Darta Hoon (Adhoora) - This song originally appeared in the album "Sawaal" (2006) by the Pakistani rock band Rushk.
• Abhi Abhi (Duet) - The version of this song in the original batch of music CDs of the film was sung by Akriti Kakar. However, the CD credited Shreya Ghoshal. When Akriti made the filmmakers aware of this issue, director Pooja Bhatt acknowledged the error. She said that the CD was supposed to include the version sung by Shreya and that Akriti's version had been included by mistake while compiling the CD. Subsequent versions of the CD had the version of the song sung by Shreya Ghoshal.[5]
