Trivia

    Album

  • This was one of the four films, directed by T. Rama Rao and starring Jeetendra and Rekha, that explored married relationships. The other films in this series were "Maang Bharo Sajana" (1980), "Ek Hi Bhool" (1981) and "Sadaa Suhagan" (1986).[1][2][3]
  • This was director T. Rama Rao and producer A.V. Subba Rao's remake of their own hit Telugu film "Aalu Magalu" (1977), starring A. Nageswara Rao and Vanisri.
  • "Aalu Magalu" was also remade in Tamil as "Nallathoru Kudumbam" (1978) and in Kannada as "Shubha Milana" (1987).

    Song

  • Saamne Aa Dekhe Zamana Saara - The tune of this song's mukhda was inspired by the theme for the Hollywood film "Love Story" (1970), composed by Francis Lai. The theme was later used in the song "Where Do I Begin?" recorded by Andy Williams. This tune has been used in other Hindi film songs - "Hum Jo Mile Toh Sara Zamana Jale" ("Rani Aur Jaani", 1973), "Dil Kyon Dhadakta Hai" ("Jaanam", 1993) and "Chand Chhupa Baadal Mein" ("Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", 1999).[4][5][6][7]
  • Tere Naam Ke Hum Deewane Hain - The tune of this song was plagiarized from the traditional West Indian children's song "Brown Girl in the Ring" which became very popular when Boney M. recorded it for their album "Rivers of Babylon" (1978).[8]
