• This film may have been inspired by the Hollywood sex comedy "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" (2005) starring Steve Carell and the Hindi film "Anubhav" (1986). "Anubhav" (1986) itself was a remake of the Kannada film "Anubhava" (1984).[1]
• This film was two years in the making. Even after completion, the film's release was stalled due to a petition raised by Sandeep Kapoor to recover a loan of Rs. 1.32 crores he had given to the film's producer Anuj Sharma. The court allowed the film's release after Sharma deposited Rs. 1 crore with the court registry.[2]
• This was filmmaker Jagmohan Mundhra's last film. He died in September 2011, a few months after the film's release in April 2011.
• Lyricist Sandeep Nath was credited in the film's opening credits but he was not credited in the audio release.
