• This film was a sequel of the video film "Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka" (1989), which itself was made to capitalise on the success of T-Series' non-film album of the same title released in 1988. Like its prequel, this film also featured songs from the original album. Apart from the song "Kya Karte The Saajna" which featured in both the films and a newly recorded song, this film included "Tumne Rakh Toh Lee Tasveer Hamari", "Naa Jaane Kyun Main Bekaraar" and "Main Gul Hoon Kali Hoon Saba Hoon". [1]
• This was the acting debut of music director Anu Malik's brother, Daboo Malik. He was credited as Krish Malik in it. His first theatrical release as an actor was "Tirangaa" (1992). He later debuted as a music director in the film "Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar" (2001).[2][3]

Song

• Kaaya Purani Jab Ho Jaye (Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka) - While the rest of the songs in this film were taken from the non-film album "Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka" (1988), this song was recorded new. The song itself was new but it reused the tune of the title song of the non-film album. Like the original song, this song also featured Gulshan Kumar on screen.[4]
