- The theatrical release of this film was delayed. While its audio records were issued in 1989, the film was released only in 1991.
Album
- Jai Ambe Jai Jagdambe - The singer of this song, Nirmala Devi, was the mother of the film's lead actor, Govinda. This was her first Hindi film song in almost two decades and she did not sing another one again. Prior to this, the last Hindi film song she had lent her voice to was "Bhor Aayi Gaya Andhiyara" ("Bawarchi", 1972).[1]
- Haayo Dank Maar Gayi - This song was used in the film but was not part of the audio release. It appears that it was originally recorded for a non-film album by Malkit Singh.
