  • This was the first film in which Mithun played Gunmaster G-9, a character inspired by the fictional character of James Bond created by the British author Ian Fleming. He appeared again as Gunmaster G-9 in the film "Wardat" (1981).[1]

  • Director Ravee Nagaich launched his production company Gopi Enterprises with this film. Mithun's character in this film was named Gopi.
