Album

This film was a remake of the Telugu film "Matru Devo Bhava" (1993). The Telugu film itself was adapted from the Malayalam film "Akashadoothu" (1993) directed by Sibi Malayil. The Malayalam film in turn was said to be inspired by the American TV biopic "Who Will Love My Children" (1983).
This was the last released film of composers Nikhil - Vinay. Nikhil Kamath and Vinay Tiwari split and started solo careers as composers after this film.
