- Irrfan Khan backed out of the film just when its shooting was supposed to start in London. He was then replaced with producer Vashu Bhagnani's son Jackky. There was another significant casting change in the film. Pakistani actress Kubra Khan, who was supposed to make her Hindi film debut, was replaced by Lauren Gottlieb.[1][2]
