- This was among the few films Asha Parekh acted in before she got opportunities in lead roles. She made a cameo appearance in the film for this song and a scene following it. She performed a dance as Krishna in the song to Vyjayanthimala's Radha. Parekh revealed later that she was a big fan of Vyjayanthimala and that while shooting for "Teesri Manzil" (1966), she had once sneaked onto the sets of "Amrapali" (1966) with Shammi Kapoor to watch her idol perform. The real-life Vyajanthimala fan also played the role of one in the film "Jawan Muhabat" (1971).[1][2][3][4]
