- The tune of the song's opening line was taken from a Bengali non-film song composed and sung by R.D. Burman - "Phire Esho Anuradha" (1969). The rest of the song may have been inspired by it as well. Burman had used the composition of "Phire Esho Anuradha" earlier for the Hindi film song "Saajan Sajna Re Saajan Kahan Jaoongi Main" ("Jaise Ko Taisa", 1973).[1][2]
