- This song was inspired by "Mere Angane Mein" ("Laawaris", 1981), sung by Amitabh Bachchan and composed by Kalyanji - Anandji. The interludes have the same tune as "Mere Angane Mein" and the lyrics have a similar theme. Each stanza in the song featured the names of an actor-couple - Hema Malini - Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia - Kaka (Rajesh Khanna), and Jaya Bhaduri - Lambu (Amitabh Bachchan).[1]
