Trivia

  • Anu Malik used the tune of the first interlude of this song for the mukhda of the song "Aisa Zakham Diya Hai" ("Akele Hum Akele Tum", 1995). The tune of the stringed instrument in the second interlude of this song was based on the Peruvian folk melody "El Condor Pasa" which gained widespread recognition when Simon & Garfunkel adapted the tune for their song "El Condor Pasa/If I Could". Anu Malik also used the tune of "El Condor Pasa" in "Teri Chahat Ke Siva" ("Jaanam", 1993) and "Taare Hain Barati" ("Virasat", 1997). The tune may have also inspired the theme music of the film "Dharmatma" (1975).[1][2][3][4][5]
