- The accordion interludes in this song were based on Ion Ivanovici's waltz composition "Waves of the Danube". The theme was a recurring motif throughout the film. Raj Kapoor had first used the tune in "Barsaat" (1949) and went on to use it in many of his other films over the next few decades.[1]
