- Madan Mohan had composed this song a month before his death but passed away before recording it. Since Kishore Kumar was very busy, the music director was unable to get time from him to record the song. A little frustrated, he sent Kishore a recording of the song in his voice followed by a message - "Aye Bangali, mera gaana dhyaan se sunna, aur rehearse karke aana, aur kharab nahin karna". Kishore Kumar recorded the song after Madan Mohan's death.[1]
