- This song was an adaptation of the Gujarati film song "Hey Ranglo" ("Sonbai Ni Chundadi", 1976) composed by Avinash Vyas. "Sonbai Ni Chundadi" (1976) was dubbed in Hindi as "Chhoti Bahen" (1977). Even before "Sonbai Ni Chundadi" (1976), Avinash Vyas had recorded a non-film version of the song in the voice of Purushottam Upadhyay. Another Hindi film song, "Chogada Taara" ("Loveyatri - A Journey Of Love", 2018), was based on the same tune.[1][2][3][4]
