    Album

  • This film was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's book "Ramer Sumati" (1914). This book was also the basis of the 1947 Bengali film of the same title, its Hindi version "Chhota Bhai" (1949), and another Bengali film titled "Ramer Sumati" (1977). The film "Chhota Bhai" (1966) was also based on the same book.[1][2]
  • This was the first Hindi film produced by actress Aruna Irani's brother, Ratan Irani.
