- This was the directorial debut of Sneha Taurani, the daughter of Ramesh Taurani, the co-founder and Managing Director of Tips Industries. It was also the debut Hindi film of actress Rukhsar Dhillon. She had worked in Kannada and Telugu films before this.
- The film's music was released in April 2019 but its theatrical release was delayed by several months. It was originally supposed to be released on September 13, 2019. The release date was then moved to November 1. The film was eventually censored in December 2019 and released in January 2020.[1]

- Bhangra Paa Le - This was a cover version of a song from the Hindi film "Karan Arjun" (1995). The original song was composed by Rajesh Roshan, written by Indeevar, and sung by Sadhna Sargam, Mohammed Aziz and Sudesh Bhosle. The film's title was also taken from the title of this song.[2]
- Ho Ja Rangeela Re - This was a recreated version of the Hindi film song "Rangeela Re" ("Rangeela", 1995), composed by A.R. Rahman, written by Mehboob, and sung by Asha Bhosle and Aditya Narayan. Asha Bhosle's vocals from the original song were mixed into this song. Another re-created version of the song had been recorded previously for the film "Not A Love Story" (2011).[3][4]
