Trivia

    Album

  • This was director Nandlal Jashwantlal's last film. He passed away before its release. The film was dedicated to his memory.
  • Puppeteer and ventriloquist Y.K. Padhye performed the ventriloquism in the film. His son Ramdas Padhye also became a ventriloquist and designed ventriloquism in films like "Mahaan" (1983) and "Dil Hai Tumhaara" (2002).[1][2]

    Song

  • Thodi Der Ke Liye Mere Ho Jao - The tune of the song's mukhda was adapted from the song "Hernando's Hideaway" composed by Jerry Ross and Richard Adler for the musical "The Pajama Game" (1954). Carol Haney sang the song for the stage as well as for the film versions of the musical.[3]
  • Yeh To Kaho Kaun Ho Tum - Albeit in a limited way, this was one of the few Hindi film songs that featured Mohammed Rafi's yodelling.
