Trivia

    Album

  • This film was a remake of K. Bhagyaraj's Tamil film "Sundara Kandam" (1992).
  • The suggestive lyrics of some of the songs in this film came back to haunt producer Pahlaj Nihalani in 2016-2017 when his stint as the Censor Board chief came under criticism for being unduly harsh in censoring films.[1]

    Song

  • Laila Bichari - The prelude of this song was based on the tune of A.R. Rahman's hit song "Rukmani Rukmani" ("Roja", 1992).[2]
  • Khada Hai Khada Hai - The double entendres in the lyrics of this song became a subject of controversy. In an interview in 2019, Anil Kapoor said that this was one song in his career he regretted doing.[3]
