Trivia

    Album

  • This was director S.A. Chandrasekhar's remake of his own Telugu film "Balidaanam" (1982). He had also remade the film in Tamil as "Satchi" (1983).
  • This was South Indian director S.A. Chandrasekhar's first Hindi film.

    Song

  • Aaja Ek Hoja - The first two lines in the version of this song in the film were different from the version in the music release. While the original version was sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle, the film version had these two lines in the voices of Bappi Lahiri and S. Janaki while the rest of the song featured the original lines sung by Kishore and Asha. This was apparently done to address the Censor Board's objection to the line "main tujh mein tu mujh mein aake kho ja". This line was replaced with "main teri tu mera aaja aaja" in the film.
