    Album

  • This film was a remake of the Tamil film "Nayakan" (1987) directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Kamal Haasan. "Nayakan" (1987) itself was based on the real-life story of the Bombay underworld don Varadarajan Mudaliar. Actor Tinu Anand reprised his role in "Nayakan" (1987) in this film.
  • After being paired with Vinod Khanna in this film, Madhuri Dixit was paired with his son Akshaye Khanna nine years later in the film "Mohabbat" (1997).[1]
  • Jolly Mukherjee made his Hindi film debut as a singer in this album.
