Trivia

    Album

  • This film was followed by a film that was promoted as a sequel, "Jannat 2" (2012), although there was no connection between their storylines. The two films did have some common cast and crew members including producer Mukesh Bhatt, director Kunal Deshmukh, writers Shagufta Rafique and Sanjay Masoom, actor Emraan Hashmi, and music director Pritam. Another Vishesh Film production "Blood Money" (2012) was initially titled "Jannat 2" and launched as a sequel to this film.[1][2]
  • This was the debut of the film's heroine, Sonal Chauhan.
  • This was Kunal Deshmukh's directorial debut.

    Song

  • Haan Tu Hai - This song bears some resemblance with Egyptian singer Amr Diab's "Ana Ayesh".[3]
  • Door Na Ja - This song may have been inspired by the song "The Blower's Daughter" (2002) by the Irish artist Damien Rice.[4]
