Trivia

    Album

  • This film was promoted as a sequel to "Jannat" (2008) although their storylines were not connected. However, the two films did have some common cast and crew members including producer Mukesh Bhatt, director Kunal Deshmukh, writers Shagufta Rafique and Sanjay Masoom, actor Emraan Hashmi, and music director Pritam.[1]
  • This film was initially titled "Informer". Its title was changed based on audience feedback. Vishesh Films had earlier planned on using the title for the film that was eventually released as "Blood Money" (2012).[2][3]
  • This was actress Esha Gupta's debut Hindi film.
  • Director Kunal Deshmukh had created an alternate cut while making the film with some of its explicit content toned down. He did so with the intention of using this cut for the film's TV release. Deshmukh preferred to have his own version of the film released on TV instead of a version that had cuts introduced by the Censor Board.[4]
