    Album

  • This film may have been an adaptation of the American comedy film "Yours, Mine and Ours" (1968). The Hindi films "Hamaare Tumhare" (1978) and "Golmaal 3" (2010) also had similar storylines.[1][2]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of theatre artist Pearl Padamsee and her son Ranjit Chowdhry.
  • The main characters of this film were Parsis. The film was dedicated to the Parsi community.
  • Basu Chatterjee named Ashok Kumar's character in this film Homi Mistry after an assistant editor at the Blitz, a weekly tabloid where Chatterjee had worked as a cartoonist for 15 years.[3]

  • Frenny O Frenny - Rajesh Roshan developed the tune of the prelude of this song to come up with the mukhda of the song "Tanhai Tanhai Tanhai" ("Koyla", 1997).[4]
