Trivia

    Album

  • This was the first film produced by Padmini Kapila's production house P.K. Productions. Her mother Rani Kapila was credited as the film's producer.
  • Padmini Kapila produced this film with the help and support of filmmaker Prakash Mehra, who wrote the film's story as well as some songs in it. The two were rumoured to be in a romantic relationship at the time.[1]

    Song

  • Kabhi Hoti Nahin Hai Jiski Haar - Babla had originally composed this song for the film "Khara Khota" (1981). The song was reused as-is in this film.[2]
  • Aye Mere Dil Tu Rona Nahi - This song was an uncredited cover of a song by the Pakistani pop singer Alamgir.
  • Aye Mere Dil Tu Rona Nahi - This film song originally featured in the non-film album "Kuchh Gadbad Hai" (1984) by Babla and Kanchan.
  • Pee Pee Pee Pyare Dil Laga Ke - The guitar riff in this song sounds similar to the one used in the song "Heaven On Their Minds" composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and written by Tim Rice for the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar". The opera was first staged on Broadway in 1971. The riff was also used in the song "Talagh" (1975) by the Iranian artist Googoosh.[3]
