Trivia

    Album

  • This was actress Anushka Sharma's debut film.
  • Aditya Chopra took a long break from directing films after this. His next film as director, "Befikre" (2016), came 8 years later.[1]

    Song

  • Haule Haule - The line "Kya kah ke gaya tha shaayar woh sayaana aag ka dariya doob ke jaana" in the second antara of this song was a reference to a couplet written by Jigar Moradabadi - "Yeh ishq nahin aasaan bas itna samajh leeje / Ek aag ka dariya hai aur doob ke jaana hai".
  • Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte - This song paid tribute to the Hindi film actors Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna and Rishi Kapoor. Each stanza of the song contained lyrics that represented the titles of songs filmed on these actors. Shah Rukh Khan's dancing and mannerisms in the song also evoked these yesteryear actors in the respective stanzas.
  • Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte - The hook line of this song, which was repeated many times in the movie, was a combination of three Hindi film titles starring the three superstar Khans: "Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke" (1993) with Aamir Khan, "Phir Milenge" (2004) with Salman Khan, and "Chalte Chalte" (2003) starring Shah Rukh Khan, who was the lead in this movie.[2][3][4]
