Trivia

    Album

  • This was Ravi's first film as a music director. It was his mentor Hemant Kumar who encouraged him to compose music independently. Ravi had worked as an Assistant Music Director to Hemant Kumar for many years before he started a solo career with this film. He shot to fame when he received music director credit for the famous "Been Music" ("Nagin", 1954) while assisting Hemant Kumar.[1][MR6][MR4]
  • The film's opening credits wrongly listed "Ravi & Chandra" as the music directors. Producer Devendra Goel made amends later by ensuring that the music records credited only Ravi.[MR4]
  • This was actor Rajendra Kumar's first Hindi film in a significant role. He had debuted earlier with a small role in "Jogan" (1950).[2]
  • The film prominently displayed an acknowledgement after the opening credits and before the film's start. It read - "We are highly indebted and grateful to Mr. Sunder Kataria of M/S Kataria Ideal Opticians, Bombay for the co-operation extended by him for shooting some scenes at his establishment.".
