Trivia
- This film was remade into a film with the same title in 2007. While this film was produced and directed by Brij, the remake was produced by his son Kamal Sadanah, who also had an acting role in the 2007 film. Kalyanji - Anandji composed the original film's music, and Kalyanji's son Viju Shah composed the remake's music.[1]
- The film's success in the box office resulted in it being remade in Telugu as "Andaru Dongale" (1974) and in Tamil as "Vairam" (1974). It also inspired the Kannada film "Giddu Dada" (1995) and the Bengali film "Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai" (2005).
