Singer Ash King was born Ashutosh Ganguly into a musical family in London. He belongs to the illustrious Ganguly lineage that Kishore Kumar belonged to. His father was a musician who assisted music directors Anil Biswas and Salil Chowdhury.
Ash King got his break in Hindi films when A.R. Rehman noticed him and signed him up for the song “Dil Gira Dafatan” (“Delhi 6”, 2009). Since then he’s used his signature style of singing for “Suno Aisha” (“Aisha”, 2010), “Te Amo” (“Dum Maro Dum”, 2011) and “I Love You” (“Bodyguard”, 2011).
