Aziz Nazan (born: 7 May 1938) is a qawwali singer whose claim to fame in Bollywood is, of course, as a playback singer and also as a music director.
“Qurbani Rang Layegi” (1991), “Ek Hi Maqsad” (1988), “Ustadi Ustad Se” (1982), “Laila Majnu” (1979), “Trishna” (1978), “Rakhi Aur Rifle” (1976), “Jaggu” (1975) and “Har Har Mahadev” (1974) are some of the films he has lent his voice to. Songs composed and sung by him are “Jhoom Barabar” in “5 Rifles” (1974) and “Hamre Ishq Ka” with Asha Bhosle in “Alibaba”, 1976. As a music director he has worked with Anuradha Paudwal, Jaspal Singh, Dilraj Kaur, Arti Mukherji and Usha Timothy in “Pyar Ke Rahi” (1982).
