Shraddha Pandit is a playback singer in Bollywood who has worked with music directors like A.R. Rahman, Salim-Sulaiman, Anu Malik, Sukhwinder Singh, Anand Raj Anand and Sajid-Wajid.
Brought up in Mumbai, Shraddha began her career in music at the age of eleven by singing Jatin-Lalit creations − “Mausam Ke Sargam Ko Sun” and “Gaate The Pehle Akele” in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Khamoshi-The Muscial” (1996). Hailing from a Mewati gharana family of many famous musicians, she is the granddaughter of Pandit Jasraj’s brother Pandit Pratap Narayan and daughter of Jatin-Lalit’s elder brother, an eminent Tabla player Vishwaraj Pandit. Her siblings Shweta and Yash are also active in Bollywood as singer and actor respectively.

Sanjay Dutt’s 1999 film “Khoobsurat” carried the hit song “Ae Shivani” sung by her. Her song “Rang Deeni” from the movie “Dev” (2004) was also a big hit. Another of her popular songs is “Dil Ka Qaraar” with Sonu Nigam from the 1999 movie “Sangharsh”.
Movies she has sung in include “Raju Chacha” (2000), “Shararat” (2002), “Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar” (2002), “Fareb” (2005), “Black & White” (2008), “Delhi-6” (2009) and “Band Baaja Baarat” (2010), “Love Breakups Zindagi” (2011) and “Jodi Breakers” (2012).
