Trivia

  • The Italian lines in this song were sung and written by actor Sharad Kumar. Sharad Kumar had gained fame in the 1960s and 1970s performing Elvis Presley songs on stage. Originally from Calcutta, he had started his film career as an actor in the film "Paisa Ya Pyar" (1969).[1][2]
  • The mukhda of this song was inspired by lines written by Majrooh Sultanpuri for the Hindi film song "Darr Naa Mohabbat Kar Le" ("Andaz", 1949). The original lines were "Do lafazon ki ek kahani / Ek mohabbat ek jawani".[3]
  • The song inspired the title of a 2016 film directed by Deepak Tijori and starring Randeep Hooda and Kajal Agarwal.[4]
