- This film was the Hindi remake of the Tamil film "Magalir Mattum" (1994) produced by Kamal Haasan. "Magalir Mattum" itself was an adaptation of the Hollywood comedy "9 to 5" (1980). Kamal Haasan had earlier remade "Magalir Mattum" in Hindi as "Ladies Only" (1997) but the film remains unreleased.[1]
