Trivia
- This was actor Joy Mukerji's first film as a producer and director.
- O.P. Nayyar had a fallout with Mohammed Rafi when the singer reported late to the studio for the recording of a song for this film. When Rafi told Nayyar that he had been delayed by a recording session with Shankar - Jaikishan, the headstrong music director told him that it would be better if they parted ways. Nayyar made do with Mukesh and Mahendra Kapoor after this incident. It took another three years or so for him to reconcile with Rafi and work with him again. Their next release together was the song "Jiska Rakhwala Bhagwan" ("Aisa Bhi Hota Hai", 1971).[1][2]
